     On 9-th of September 2004. Karlo Astrahan formed a group of artistic creators, nine of them and professionally designed approach in bridge pub ‘Magnet’. Symbolism  between the date and number of participants, imposed the name of artistic group- KLUB 9.

 

    The ones who represent literature, musicians, painters, sculptors, actors, photographers and other artistic creators had (and still have) opportunity to represent their work and skills they offer.
The idea of synchronic presentation of art, also as affirmation of young ‘trackers’ continued with work till these days. Certainly, the number of participants went to higher level , thanks to the constant tours of  Klub 9 in different city locations.

 

    After the ‘Magnet’ at the beginning of 2005. Klub 9 appeared for the first time in ‘Students Kultural Centre’ and proceed with his plan and program inside of the SKC for the next six months, organizing once a month for the admirers of art, unforgettable multimedia performances.
During 2005 Klub 9 participated at ‘Warp’ festival- different voices- within International cultural centre proceeding with its visionary words.
&In April 2005 during night of art of Klub 9 in SKC the drama ‘Odmrzavanje’ written by a student of drama section Masa Filipovic had its premiere.
In May 2005 Klub 9 organized in SKC seven- days group exhibition for the students of Faculty of Art.
In November 2005 in ‘Workshop for the reparation of the city’ Klub 9 organized biweekly exhibition for a painter Ljiljana Borcic.
Expansion of Klub 9 itself as an idea, brought up to interest among young people, from region, so including members, there are many guests: magazines, individuals, many cultural groups and others.

 

    Klub 9 was registered in current year in Department for human and minority rights as a society out of ministry, unprofitable, out of politics, society for affirmation of modern art and accepted the obligation of shaping the cultural consciousness, generally speaking and foundation of new wave which contributes to a new movement in art.

 

    The invitation from ‘Bitef’ came after performance in SKC and then at the beginning of 2006 Klub 9 started with performances every second week in ‘Bitef’ and continued till these days, with desire to spread multilateral interest, thus, including  participants and auditorium itself.
In March 2006 within Klub 9 night of art in ‘Bitef Art Cafe’ the drama ‘Bubasvabe’ written by dramaturge Jacqline Raingold had its first run, in association with International Art Centre.
In May 2006. Klub 9 organized ten-days group exhibition of sculpture in SKC for the students of sculpture, from Faculty of Dramatic Arts.
In June Klub 9 organized literary symposium in SKC in which participated both, students from Faculty of Filology and profesors from USA Chad Pharise and Chris Phinc.
In July 2006  Klub 9 organized seven- days exposition with works of art by painters Nikola Marceta, Irena Parovic, Leonora Golubovic in SKC.
In November 2006 Klub 9 organized ten-days exhibition for a painter Sasa Kukic in SKC.

 

    In the following year 2007 Klub 9 started stimulating cooperation with Institute of Servantes- centre of Spanish culture- promoting successfully Spanish culture every month during nights of art.
In February Klub 9 organized on the occasion of St. Valentine’s Day performance ‘Ode of Love’ in ‘Bitef’, played by music and literary section Klub 9 .
In March Klub 9 organized in ‘Bitef Art Cafe’ on the occasion of Women Day, March 8 an art marathon.
In May 2007 Klub 9 organized in ‘Bitef’ literary night of Spanish writer Silvija Monros.
In  June 2007 Klub 9 in collaboration with French Cultural Centre in Zmaj Jovina street organized multimedia performance.
In October 2007 Klub 9 organized in ‘Bitef’ big origami exposition of origami artist Jovan Isakov.
In November 2007 Klub 9 organized in ‘Bitef’ first ‘Face Art Festival’.
In December 2007 Klub 9 organized in ‘Bitef’ literary night of Drasko Miletic on the occasion of publishing of his IIX novel.

 

    During 2008 Klub 9 gets an invitation by Ministry of diaspora to participate on project ‘Djavolja Varos’ candidate for seven world wonders of nature.
In March the gallery ‘Strategy Art’ and Committee for support to ‘Djavolja Varos’ organized seven- days exposition of sculptors and painters of Klub 9.
In April on the invitation of director of Prolom Banja Zlatko Veljovic sculptors, painters, origami artists and art photographers from Klub 9 went to ten- days colony to Prolom Banja.
In April Klub 9 supported by ‘Vecernje Novosti’ and Radio and Television of Serbia organized literary night devoted to Djavolja Varos’ the only Serbian candidate for seven world wonders of nature.
In May Klub 9 organized in ‘Bitef’ charitable art night where charitable donations to asylums for abandoned animals were gathered.
In June Klub 9 in library ‘Milutin Bojic’ organized music- literary  night devoted to young poets Vladimir Stojnic and Leonora Golubovic, with music support by Bojan Savic Ostojic.
In July Klub 9 organized a concert of Flamenco group ‘Vengo’ in Ljubovija.
In August on the invitation of Dimitrije Lukic a chairman of commune Soko Banja , six sculptors, one painter and one art- photographer from Klub 9 went to ten- days sculptural colony to Soko Banja.
In September Klub 9 started his electronic magazine for culture and art ‘Kult’ which includes all means of art and happenings in Serbia and all across the world.
In September the members of Klub 9 went to Soko Banja to formal placing of sculptures made during the colony in central park of Soko Banja and Town Hall of Soko Banja.

 

    During the events of Klub 9 depending on concerts the audience has the opportunity to hear declaim literary works, dramatic sketches, music performances most talented young groups, to experience the passion of flamenco dance, fine arts and sculptural exhibitions, exhibitions of art photography and also many applied works of art (lets say origami).

Klub 9 organizes for its members from music section concerts.
Also for its members from art and sculpture sections same as for its art photography sections organizes individual and group expositions ( SKC, Workshop…and Strategy Art G).
It holds theatre performances in ‘Bitef’ and SKC, plays written by members of Klub 9.

    Klub 9 today counts over a hundred and fifty of members from all fields of art, starting with literature, theatre, painting, sculpture, origami, art photography, over music and dance and 80 percent are younger than 30 years old.
